EUDRATEC® Fasteric can rapidly release 90% of the drug within 30 minutes of arrival at a specific, pre-defined pH level between 3.0 and 5.5 to precisely match the release profile requirements of APIs which have a narrow absorption window. DuoCoat® is a novel dual-action technology designed to achieve enteric protection and rapid drug release in the ileocolonic region. DuoCoat® consists of an enteric outer layer of an enteric EUDRAGIT® polymer, and an inner layer of partially neutralized enteric polymer and a buffer agent. It is clinically proven for rapid drug release, suitable for use with standard manufacturing equipment, and applicable for use across a range of dosage forms including monolithic and multiparticulates.
